Snainton asked us to create a digital strategy to grow their online revenue and margin in the competitive golf retail segment. A well-established and respected brand in a traditional sport, Snainton understood the demands of online retail and that they needed a creative business plan to grab market share from strong competitors.
Nickerson Co developed a winning digital strategy that became their digital business plan. We included not just the digital channel but provided proposals to issues like staff skills, underlying technology, EPOS, and everyday business process – all of which needed change to make the leaps in performance required. We baked into this a simple business case that mitigated significant investment with significant efficiencies and savings. All we had to now was deliver it.
Reassured by our approach, Snainton asked us to then execute the strategy on the ground. This has included a developing a digital marketing programme incorporating SEO, PPC and Social Media to lay-over their already thriving email channel.
We have led their digital recruitment and appointed an eCommerce Manager and developed a digital team. We also took on the task of helping the business negotiate its way through GDPR to minimise loss. Finally we used our status as a TrustPilot partner to introduce TrustPilot to the Snainton brand which now enjoys an ongoing excellent rating.
Finally, we specified, designed and developed (with our delivery partners) a new website and migration to Magento2 giving endless flexibility for the future once live.
